suddenly problems

I restarted game after many hundreds of hours with almost no problems to speak of. Started in "untested explorer" Issues are: Travel mode does not work. (2) ship is repulsed when I near a jump gate. (3) ship sticks in highways. (4) map plots couses acroos blank map spaces, not through jump gates or highways. Whats up? tried re-installing game, playing at lower specs, nothing works.

Without more information it's going to be very hard to help you. Are you playing the current version (2.6) or the Beta version (3.0)? Is your game modified in any way? Do you have a savegame you can upload so that someone else can see what's happening?

yes I have 2.6. Yes I have save game. My computer is a gaming rig that played without problems until I started a new game. No game has not been modified

Please upload the save to a reputable public fileshare site and post the link here so that others can take a look.

I know that you have reinstalled and are playing vanilla, but with all those issues at the same time in a new start it really does sound a lot like corrupt, incomplete or changed gamefiles. Another possibility is that your antivirus or other system protection app is perhaps too aggressive and is removing or quarantining gamefiles as false positives.

Have you verified your game installation since you tried the new start?
