Currently, managers will send you money if they are making profit and their funds grow above a certain threshold. There is currently no way to also send money from my main wallet to managers, if their available funds go below a certain threshold.
I would like to avoid mega-complexes and instead spread my economy out over multiple stations, but due to the nature of this, some of the stations I have exclusively make a loss, that the other stations then compensate for. At some point, those stations will have 0 Cr. remaining and will be unable to buy any more materials or drones. This is also the case for pure defense stations, that are slowly running out of funds for drones and missiles over time. Right now I need to periodically check on them and manually send them more money if they are running low.
My suggestion would be to add an option to auto-fund stations from the main wallet if they are below their production budget and then make both options (transfer profits, auto fund) optional. Please look at this example. (Sorry for the german, you get the idea)

Re: [Suggestion] Add option to auto-fund managers
I would like a way to manually set two levels:
-Minimum fund, meaning everytime my station falls under that level, it draws from my account enough to get the set minimum amount
-Maximum fund, meaning everytime my station goes above that level, it sends the excess to my account
Really, such a system could solve all people's problems with station accounts. Right now, the game makes to many assumptions about what I would want without giving me the option to fine tune it. This is one example.

Good point about the defense stations - but I don't understand why your normal stations are losing money. You can have stations pay other stations and things should work out fine...
Irrational factors are clearly at work.

Really? How do I do that? Whenever my traders get wares from one station and bring them to another one, no money is transferred at all between them.Sandalpocalypse wrote: ↑Sat, 1. Feb 20, 04:42 You can have stations pay other stations and things should work out fine...
I have all my stations in the same sector, so I can use the auto-trader function and limit their range to that sector. They are not subordinates of the stations. But even then, no money is transferred between the stations and my main wallet either.
Even if that would work though, according to my calculations, my water factory would still lose money for example. The price of the water the manager sets is too low to compensate for the price he's paying for the ice and energy cells.
I can't manually set that price, because it would screw up my auto traders. I don't see a way around automatically giving that station more money in some way.
