So I've started a new game on the 3.0 beta and noticed a couple of items that might be easy to improve.
Missions to deliver standard stock items like sand filters or carbon scrubbers direct you to the bar for delivery, but might be more immersive if delivered to engineering or other depending on the item requested. Also, that is the most boring empty bar around (probably because space fuel is illegal) but if it could spawn 3-10 NPC's standing around + a bar tender would help make the place seem more "alive". Even better if you could get a couple of NPC's to look like they are playing pool or maybe a stand-up video game. (You had all that in the bar's in X-R)
2nd helpful idea, when being requested for personal item inventory via mission, if there were a (*Note* you have 18 of these in your inventory*) on the mission offer screen then I might accept more of them on the fly because having to read the mission then check my inventory, then go back & accept the mission is a bit tedious after a while.
3rd not so easy but beneficial thought … I know the little ships flying around the dock look cool, but should they really cross the flight path of the docking lanes? I've bumped into a few and it's not a big deal but just seeing them cross the flight path of docking ships kind of takes away from the immersion for me because no station in space or here on the ground would allow such a thing as a standard practice.
