Wrong Station !

I have built a very small Silicon factory.

1 x Silicon Wafer
1 x Teladi S Solid Storage.
1 x Teladi M Container Storage.
1 x 3M6S Luxury Dock.
No habitat.
Station Manager is on board and working.
Have station cash as well.

The Map shows the station to be a “ Refined Goods Complex “

So any ship I try and set to trade for the station, has the wrong products listed for a Silicon Factory ! And thus just sits doing nothing.

I have tried several ships, but keep getting the same problem.

The Silicon factory is working Ok, but I can not get any trading happening with my own trade ships, as the station is classed as a Refined good Complex.

Any ideas !

What stuff is listed for transport in your ships? Delete everything else but goods what are for silicone.

Or if you dont have any just apply the silicone

Silicon can only be transported by Ships (mineral) classification (mining ships) for trading to your station. Set a mining ship (mineral) to do mining for the station.

Yes this is what it should say. The trader is trying to buy the components needed for the station to build the requested drones. After these buy offers are satisfied the trader will start trading station products.

Due to how rare Smart Chips can be and the potential lack of skill of the manager it might not be able to fulfil these buy orders automatically. One can manually schedule the required trades to speed up the process.

For some stupid reason traders might not start with normal operation until your drone and missile orders are fulfilled. Think this is the 5th time or so i read about this.

Do what Imperial says, deliver those wares manually then you should be good to go.
