can´t sell my ship where i bought it

Hello Players,

on a Video i ve seen how to get new Pilots when trade has no 3 Stars.

Now i have 6 Ships but cannot sell them. I bought those with minimum config.

Maybe i am on the wrong Station "ARG Argon Dock" - Argon Prime

Is there a better step hpow to get new Pilots if they have no Trade Level?

You have to sell them at the appropriate station; S and M ships at a Wharf and X and XL ships at a Shipyard. Just select to interact with the relevant station remotely using the map and look for the 'Sell Ship' option. You can also meet with the relevant ship dealer, but that is more effort. Obviously you should not be able to remotely sell the ship you are on and make sure that you select the right ship(s) to sell(!)

Ahh okay thanks and the Pilot Situation?

When i get a hauler with a crap Pilot? I kniw how i can expell him but how i get a new one except to promote a officer to captain?

I thought the idea was that people would buy a super cheap small ship until they got one with a good captain, then they'd move that captain to the ship they wanted to trade.

As Lamefox says
- Buy the cheapest ship you can find
- check if it's a 3* plus pilot
- If so, transfer the pilot to your other ship
- else continue buying ships until you get lucky
- in either case, sell cheap ship(s) (at a loss)

Shame there isn't an easier way around this. In RL, you would advertise then interview for a 3* pilot, not just randomly recruit people & hope they have the skills you want.

Start with a Pegasus at full spec, then change all onboard components to the cheapest. And remove any unwanted sundries. ( This way I think gives a better chance of 3*s )
Then purchase the ship.
Take a look to see if you have got a 3 star pilot, If not ! Get an other Pegasus.
Now send the Pegasus(3*) to dock at the same station your useless pilot is docked at !
Select your useless ship, Open Com’s and fire the pilot.
When the Pegasus has docked, open Com’s, and get the ( 3 star ) pilot to work elsewhere, Empty un-piloted ship !
Now select the Pegasus, Map mode, then right click a wharf, and chose “Sell ship”

You now have a 3* pilot in your old ship.

You will have lost some cash in the process but at-least your ship can start Auto trading. So lost cash will soon be recovered.
