There is an argon defense platform in SW1 that claims the sector, but I would like to claim all of SW to have a presence on the highway ring. Is it possible to destroy 1 station without triggering all out war? Really wish there was a way to do this diplomatically...

I'm not too concerned about losing rep with the argon (+20 already). I just don't want to drop below -10. But the method in your link would seem to be the safest way.

Well I'm unsure what would be the penalty if you simply just nuked the Admin center with torpedoes. I know that large systems on large ships like engines and main shields can drop as much as 3 rep per system, which is why capping freighters is a pain in the ass. The admin center itself doesn't have extra modules on it so you might be able to just nuke the thing then leave the system without incurring much of a permanent rep drop..
