Teladianium question
I have three facilities producing teladianium, scanning arrays and hull parts; yet only one of these facilities show (via logical overview) the use of teladianium to make the arrays and hull parts. Anyone know why that could be?

Re: Teladianium question
Generally speaking any Teladi version of a production module that would normally need hull parts (like the teladi engine parts production) also needs teladianium to function. I can't tell the exact differences but I'd guess it uses less of the others in exchange for the extra resource. Similarly how food and medical production facilities have different resource needs for the different species.
You can tell apart production modules by the symbol next to them. Sometimes they'll even have TEL in their name but I found that production modules are notorious to miss those so your only bet is the symbol next to the name.
You can entirely eliminate teladianium from your production just buy removing every Teladi production module from your plans. This is a bit hard because there can be upto 3 versions (ARG, PAR, TEL) of some production modules, that look exactly the same in the build menu except for the logo, but you can get used to it.

Re: Teladianium question
Only for Medicine, which is designed to fit into each faction food chain.
With exception of Refined Metal and Teladianium all factions share the same modules for common wares. With those exceptions, PAR/ARG both use Refined Metal while TEL use Teladianium.
Each faction has a unique food, however only their workers eat that food. As such it cannot count as a faction specific production method since it is the only production method to universally create that food and foods cannot be substituted with each other. One wants a diverse workforce for optimal growth rates as growth operates independently for each race of worker.
