[Question] Access MD variables from AI script

Hi, community and modding experts.

Could you, please, explain is it possible to access md.script.cue.$variable from an aiscript? I know about global variables but I prefer use local variables instead.

<signal_objects /> or blackboard variables on an entitiy like player.entity.$variable or this.pilot.$variable

worth pointing out that this is the purpose of a global tho...
