Useless Map Informations

Useless Map Informations cover the map you can not see icons sometimes.
lets open the map and see
Factory money, Ships active / all....
Shipyard name, making ships, no order
Yourshipname, Homebase, Destination.

If you have trade subscriptions then the horror on yoface that lines and lines and even more lines with who is the pilot, not the skill, how many passengers... This is not Universal Taxi and Mass-transportation simulator :D
Who care about how many paersonel on board and who can remember a hundred blabla captainname. That is NOT identitificatitiittion.... god my english :D

Under battle conditions you can see crosses over crosses but you can not see your assets doing what. Not even their name. Just icons flying around with lines and lines and even more lines whit whoever.....

Your traffic and the other fractions traffic with the same color....

And again... :D
X to X3 is MENU SUPERIOR!
I think Egosoft has already worked out our doom, because Xenon AI will reach the stars! :D

You may want to configure your map then. If I recall correctly, everything you mention can be turned on and off.

I believe the point is that the game would benefit from a bit of re-ordering of information. The OP seems to be saying that different details would be much more useful but aren't available as options at all. That's my understanding at least.

Indeed :D

The right info panel is somewhat good information source in the cockpit view. When you see a ship in your map executing some lame trade offer near to a xenon invasion force the confusion starts. Who is it? How to send it home (to rethink his life) then go with the next trading opp or something.

Information bubble... (yeah this is the proper name). So it has to contain Ship name, Working for. Current assigment. repeating myself :D

Funny. So lets jump in via teleport. Navigate away. Then teleport back. But noooo. You have to re assign traders. However this is not the behavior of ships in group/wing/formation.
The good old Reunion and X2 way you was able to reach the homebase menu from the ship's properties menu.

Moving the location-specific info to the bottom? As long as it's clear what the info is regarding, that seems ok.
