Fighting outside your Wharf/Shipyard

I hope something is done in 3.0 for this bc its getting very frustrating :evil:

HOP destroy all others faction trade ships coming with goods to my wharf
and now icing on the cake cant buil anything on the wharf since HOP again destroys any builder ship I hire

Cant hire HOP builder bc he will not even get to Nopileus Fortune through PAR space

Now I have to buy my own builder!

What would be cool if they bring in is you can have your own police in your sectors and they brake up the fighting or if they persist destroy the buggers, of course without REP penalty since they are at fault 8)

HOP is my biggest money bringer so dont want to piss them off
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

Well what could work imo is that you could opt-in for manual buy order for a faction with delivery. For instance, considering HOP and Argon would start a fight next to your shipyard, you could arrange some delivery carriers/aux crafts that would deliver the finished ships to HOP instead of these ships flying to their destination themselves.

That is a bad thing? It means you get the delivery for free (as you can salvage the wares) and they will order a new trader from you. Stupid, I agree, but no business person would hate it.

Which considering you operate a Warf is as good as free. 10 million from an NPC, or 2 million if self built (XL shipyard).

The NPCs should purchase ships in 2 ways. The first is immediate hand over which is what they do now, and fly the thing out of the place that built it.

Then there should be delivery to a sector, where the ship maintains your faction code until it is enters the NPC specified sector. Once in the sector ownership is transferred and you get paid. The NPCs would specify safe sectors which they own for this type of purchase and use it if your facilities are in space hostile to them or threatened by hostile fleets. You also get paid a bonus of 10% or so for the extra risk this type of deliver entitles.

Without this second type of deliver, warfs become a money making scam pretty much since the NPCs will happily buy ships from you just to have them destroyed the instant they undock and then instantly order replacements from you, at full price.
