Can you show us some pre artwork or shape of new ships
As the tile said can you show us some screenshots artwork or something to see how the new ships will look like for every faction and split before 3.0 hits to be honest you better not COPY AND PASTE ships like you did with the Argon Behemoth and Colossus and you better not give me GUFI ugly ships there's plenty of hard core ships at this site https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/spaceship?page=4 now if you are making your own ships then show us how the look like so we can vote if the are good or bad

They did a PR thing on Gamescom. They showed us a lot of insight on what's to come.

No offense but i pay full price for a game not a pre alpha version with 50E and i expected good good quality game + ships i didn't play X-RB but i did watch some videos and they did a good job making ships in that game and i was hoping to see some similar ships maybe be better version off them not copy and paste or rescale ships of same version Colossus - Behemoth and half off the ships are CARGO SHIPS so ja am demanding a lot because i don't wanna see the same fiasko GUFI ugly ships in split vendetta

Considering the collectors edition is $80, and that would be enough to keep one of Egosoft's employees paid for about 2 hours (at ~$40 an hour), we each are entitled to making a demand that would occupy 1 programmer for a couple hours. Right?

They are reluctant to publish such a list because there may be significant changes to it between now and release. This is how most sensible game companies work and it avoids a lot of disappointment as well as confusion.
For example assume a person liked one of the designs. However between the pre-release footage of the design and the game being released the developers discovered a major problem with it, be it gameplay related or even performance related, and so had to axe or heavily change the design. Now the person buys the game/DLC expecting the ship to be there but it is not. They first wonder where the ship is, possibly asking around on forums, then they start raging and demanding a refund because their favourite pre-release ship did not make it into the final game. If the images of the ship were never shown then the person will not have been disappointed (or feel tricked into) buying the game/DLC.
This happens with the development of most games and why there are strong NDA clauses for developers and testers.
Now one could try being completely transparent with all your designs and changes to solve this problem, but that introduces many others. Other game developers could steal your ideas and concepts to beat you to a final product at a fraction of the effort you spent. Additionally it wastes a lot of developer time having to communicate this data with the player base that could much rather be spent working on the game to get it released sooner.

They showed almost every ship in the trailer. I see a corvette, a frigate, a trader, a miner, a destroyer? (or new capital class) and at the end it's probably the Raptor floating into the screen with double L Beam turrets.
Really only the fighters and the large traders are missing and a proper view of the carrier.
Plus the cap ship has mk2 engines by the "02" printed on them with some long weird turret on the top, so new modules.

Miner?, Chimera, Dragon, might be called Rattlesnake, Looks like X3 Cobra, another unfinished ship behind the station?, Caiman Freighter, This one I guess is an XL freighter, Elephant? (really like this one) and the Python or Raptor, actually I think this is called Buffalo. So thats 7, and I dont think we've seen the Split scout ship or their L miner. As for the name Rattlesnake I remember seeing it in one of the videos, not sure what size it was - might be the Dragon-looking ship though because Lino said that the one 'based' on the dragon isnt called dragon (which to me is fine because i've always thought that dragon goes against their naming conventionscsaba wrote: ↑Thu, 31.
