Will boarding be fixed in 3.0?

Will boarding be fixed in 3.0?

So here is what I did:

>Play with and Odysseus and have like 5 Nemesis and 2 Theseus and 1 Peregrine as Subordinates
>In the boarding menu, I set them to disable target engines, Launch boarding pods when target combat ability is set to very low, and hull is low(30%).
>In the operation the target was a Behemoth

What happened:

>None of my subordinates targeted the engine, they were fighting as if they are trying to kill the target, they occasionally target other surface elements
>My bombers (equipped with 2 launchers as main and the rest beam turrets) get in very, veeery close range (talking below 100m) then launch their bombs almost killing themselves from the explosion
>When target hull gets below 30%, the objective changes into "protect target ship" yet some of my subordinates keep on firing at the target (especially with turrets) and my Missile turrets also don't stop firing

Here's the problem now, most of the time, they just end up killing the target 80% of the time because they don't stop firing when it gets low. That makes boarding operations a nightmare of Save/Load.

All my succesful boarding have to be made by cancelling my my subordinates orders and tell them to fly far elsewehere while i do everything by myself.

When i let the AI handle the boarding (1 destroyer and about 4~6 small ships) after the missions started, they melted the target immediately.

What should happen:

>AI Subordinates focus on doing their task in the configuration menu which is disable target (killing turrets or engine if they are set to disable target engine)
>AI Bombers should stay outside of target range only launching torpedoes at surface elements
>When target hull gets below set threshold and objective changes to "protect target ship", all AI subordinates (and other allied ships) and turrets should stop firing immediately (can still fire at remaining surface elements though.

I hope this will be addressed in 3.0 because currently boarding is a very frustrating experience.
