While we're on the topic, do you engage in privateer-style piracy, attacking ships of "enemy" governments but remaining loyal to your "home country", or do you plunder everything that moves?

If you plunder everything, how do you spend money or trade with the various factions when nobody likes you?

(BTW by "privateer I don't mean "Privateer" the game but "privateer" the category of pirate, a pirate who attacks only his country's enemies.)

The only downside is that you will be unable to dock anywhere and save your game/buy weapons/buy factories/earn cash.

The last one who talked to me this way, (I believe it was a boron, not sure there where so many) has become one with the nebula in the sector he attacked me
