How can I see upgrade time?

When I order a ship to get upgrades at an equipment dock, if I am not the pilot, I can't figure out where I can see the time left for the upgrade. Clicking on the equipment dock in the object list under "docked ships" shows the wrench icon meaning it is getting an upgrade, but no ETA. The only way I have seen to see this remaining time is if I am the pilot sitting in the chair at the time of the upgrade. I can't force the NPC pilot out of the chair while the upgrade is happening.

If you have "docked ships" in the map's filters enabled, then when you zoom in to an Eq. Dock where the ship is being upgraded, the info box (pop up one for the station) should show the progress.
