Is there A Rescue Ship :?

I was wandering wether there will be a rescue ship available for the ejected pilots so that they can rescued for a price.

Well you can do that already, But it's slavery only.
There is no way just to rescue someone.

It would be nice in X2 to do this, and gain rating's with whichever race.

Well....in the X-Universe that would be like really cool....but in X2 its just gonna be a waste of time! the rescue ship should be a ship which people can be able to purchase and have in their fleet. In this way they could help people and make some money while their at it!

Hopefully in X2 you can order one of your own ships to pick up dropped cargo as well as do a rescue. Hence you can get a fast escort ship that whilst your in the thick of battle they swoop in and pick up all those missile cases.. before anyone else gets there whilst you're doing the hard work...

It would add an extra dimension in the game if each ship you owned had a hired pilot and if in combat and their ship gets destroyed they bail out like normal pilots and can be picked up, saving you the cost of re-hiring someone. Preferably by another of your owned ships...

Also that pirate ships will pick up ejected comrades before escaping the area... Assuming they know when they're onto a bad thing and should run rather than fight.
