I miss the target window of X3
In X3, a critical tool was the ability to see other ships in the target window. The main use for this, other than it being cool to see the other ship, was that it showed the orientation of the other ship relative to my ship. So I could tell at a glance whether it was flying sideways, away from me, or directly at me. Is there any chance that could make a return someday? It doesn't have to be an integrated cockpit element, just a small window in the to left view so we can see other targeted ships.

Careful what you wish for. Given how Ego is implementing these feedback elements since Rebirth, they may well put such a display on top of target info monitor, which already experiences plenty of unwanted obstructions.

Agree totally with OP.
The target window in X3 was amazing fun to watch from inside the stations while docked.
They got rid of this in X REBIRTH and killed the immersion of the game...
Can it be MODDED in as a simple window at the top left corner of the screen.
Honestly thought this would be in foundations already as it is X4.

+1 the target windows and a lot of other things were better in X3.
