Just tested it with Steam. You only need to be online to start a new game, not play it.Socratatus wrote: ↑Wed, 5. Jun 19, 12:30... I think once you put it on a ship it stays, but play Offline again and no more skins are available. This is on GOG.

1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
Yes, for immersion. Thankyou ahead of time. (Edit: This is actually happening!!!)

Don't start the Steam discussion yet again. This has nothing to do with "DRM".
The behaviour described by Nanook is the same on both Steam and GOG.

Steam is it`s own DRM, just because you don`t like it don`t mean you should just try and bully shut a person down. I think, Sir, you sometimes overstep the Mod mark in what is a simple civil discussion.

Re: Activating earned Mods and Paint Jobs
This has nothing to do with opinions, or "bullying".
1. The topic of this thread is Equipment and Paint Mods, not DRM.
2. There have been numerous discussions of the pros and cons of Steam, and we do not need every thread turned into a discussion of that topic.
3. People have repeatedly demonstrated on this forum that they are incapable of discussing the subject of DRM without it descending into justification of illegal activities, so the topic is off-limits to stop people from incriminating themselves.
Just to be 100% clear about this, you are being told by a moderator NOT to turn this into a discussion about Steam and DRM. Under the forum rules, you comply with this or you face the consequences.
I have split and locked this, to prevent further derailment of the original thread.
