There is any way to make the defense station do their work without need be hitted before?

Some people advise deloying lastertowers and adding them to defend the station. If lasertowers is attacked then the station will start to fire at aggresor.

Unfortunately lasertowers suffer the same issue - they will not attack anything until they are attacked.
