Feedback about blueprints

You know what is kinda strange in this game? Its that you have to buy blueprints from other factions.
Maybe another way would be to build a research module for this purpose and let it research blueprints, every research takes time and resources related to the price of the blueprint with the NPCs.
Whoever is also free to take this as a mod idea.

No, you don't. At least, not all blueprints.

what I meant was not have to buy all blueprints, but it was that you cant play without buying blueprints from NPCs (well you can, but then you won't experience the whole game), which is bad if you want to build a pirate empire.

Well, not that I hate it or so, just would be nice if players had some alternative, so Im just giving feedback.

Ah OK, I misunderstood your message. Yes, blueprint acquisition could use some more venues.

you can always hack them as in put emp bombs and scan then

Need to have research on blueprints
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

and what about ships and ship parts (engines, turrets, shields) blueprints? cant hack those.

S/M ships you can.

Just need to EMP an abandoned ship.
But yeah, ship chassis and especially equipment needs more ways to be learned.

I do agree - research in general should cost money, time, perosnal and resources, whatever the research lab will bring in the future version - I would expand this to blueprints and on others areas
Also, perosnals should cost money ...and owning a sector should grant you taxes but also costs to maintain the sector policies but that's probalby another topic HR management or Alien Resources Management :-)

well not about blueprints and research anymore, but:
personal already costs money, in terms of food rations and medical supplies.

Imo the only feature we need in addition is reverse engineering for ships. Otherwise emp hacking works wonders.
