Ok so I had a mission to repair a pair of advanced satellites. However the first of the pair was placed right by one of the entry gates for the sector. So close in fact that, before I could get in repair laser range, I was propelled through the gate back into the sector (unwittingly getting the Space Odyssey achievement as well), meaning I ended up about 27 km away from both it and my ship. Fortunately I did have a pilot in the Discoverer so getting it to fly to me was not an issue.
Really frustrated that we're on patch 2 and we still have issues like this. If anything the AI pathing seems worse as well.

I think those satellites are from Vigil at the Gates missions. Vigil at the Gates missions are ones where you drop a satellite by a gate. If you do Vigil at the Gates missions then don't do repair satellite missions in that sector or they will almost always send you to the satellites you placed by the gates I think.
