Problems with missions

there's this mission type that is giving me some troubles, basically all the transport personnel missions, I get to their stations ready to pick them up but once I face them (literally) and I try talk to them.... nothing happens. This issue is related to these characters tied to this missions only.

Yeah, it's a bug that needs fixing, but it is probably hard for them to nail down, because every time I have encountered it, I restart and it works. So providing a save game doesn't help them in this situation, as they can't see the proof of it for themselves in the provided save game.
