2 bugs in one day - cant change loadout 2.21 - with workaround

spent nearly all day trying to change the loadout on my nemesis. I had mods fitted to all weapons so I uninstalled them all and selected new weapons. Beam mkii all round.
I was told not enough resources etc so I did anyway. checked if any goods were needed at the station and just sat there a couple of hours while I micro managed my empire. mmmm not happy.

so I cancelled and went to another warf...same again.
so I cancelled, went o my own shipyard, cancelled all builds in que and tried to change to loadout...all ok so I proceeded. got a message saying upgrade is scheduled...…..3 hrs later still nothing.
gone to a paranoid warf changed the loadout...message says all ok so I proceed.....arg.....message saying work is scheduled and sat about waiting again.

can anyone confirm if its possible to change loadout on player ship after removing mods to each weapon.

sounds like you have fallen foul of a queued order .

try this

Having removed all mods..on map view right click on your ship select "remove all orders" and try your loadout change again.

I think he's right about it being a bug though. I have had this happen several times since starting a new playthrough and even when I personally am sitting in the pilot chair it won't do anything until I clear orders and start again. Queued orders should ideally not apply to the player I would think.
