So I'm about 240h into a game that was started on the v1 client and has had all the update applied to the latest 2.21 beta. None of the factions have decided to fight each other and about 20h ago the Xenon seem to give up and no longer produce any ships and so no longer invade the areas owned by the other factions. At the same time, the other factions have not decided to invade Xenon space apart from the Teladi who have started to spam Scale Plate Green I with defence stations. So far they have 10 and another one is being built.
Can this game be saved or has it run its course?
Peace has broken out across all sectors.

The Xenon should always be attacking.
As for the other factions, are their shipyards trying to produce ships but have no materials? If so, you could try producing factories to feed them, which feeds the war.
In any case, I'd upload the save and post here so the devs can see what happens after 240 hours:

Did you ever camp the xenon in at any point? I've had xenon sectors run out of resources because I kept killing their S ships as they tried to pass the gate. The xenon seem to be fanatical about delivering resources to their build plots. If you destroy the storage containers next to an unfinished xenon station, soon many xenon S ships will try to refill it, and if you keep killing them eventually it will break them as they wont have resources to build a new S. In my latest game I've tried to avoid killing any of the xenon S as they are busy little bees making content for my game world.

Yeah I took out almost all the Xenon sectors without a problem(just left the hull eating sector in their control), none of the factions really fight each other at all and things got kind of boring. Once you get 15 or so upgraded destroyers there isn't really anything that can touch you. I'll probably start a new game with 3.0.

I spent most of the game building up my production and now have 3 mega complexes that can service any item in demand, all of which seem to he holding stores so there are no major material shortages. With the factions not at war with each other, they have not suffered losses to cause large orders, it also means that they have handled most of the defending against Xenon attacks as they had operational fleets.ei8htx wrote: ↑Wed, 10. For the few encounters with Xenon fleets that I had before everything stopped, I found going for destroyers was just bo dull. Instead, I tried out a wing of 40 Nemesis Vanguard, each equipped with a mix of cannon and Turrets. If you include 2 or 3 Plasma weapons on each ship the life expectancy of any Xenon attack group is near zero for the lose of 1 or maybe 2 ships, and it's a lot more fun flying the lead in such a group compared to commanding a destroyer. Such battle are just so much more Hollywood SiFi, it's a shame that the only radio chatter comes from the other ships running out of targets.MurryChang wrote: ↑Wed, 10. Yes, Teladis feel soo strong. They invaded the Xenon sector, north of Ianamas Zura in my game.rit wrote: ↑Wed, 10. They invaded scale plate green with 10 defense stations and they destroyed the Xenon shipyard...
So my game is not very challenging. I see sometimes 1 or 2 Xenon K in Hatikva's fath, as well as in Paranid sector next to fault logic. But nothing very challenging.
I would love to see some sector takeover, with mission generated by the races to help them to take back their sectors. It would be awesome.

BUT, i have to admit that some of my stations, a bit far from sector center get destroyed by spawned Xenons and / or Khaaks.
So, something has changed.
- Maybe OOS changed with the latest update.
- Maybe spawning foes frequency increased since the latest update.
But, i did not report this because my game is modded. Si it could change the OOS fighting balance.
BTW, i had no warning of theses attacks!
