option 1: Back up so you have room to accelerate, then boost. It may take a few attempts, but you can usually knock yourself back out of the asteroid.
option 2: If you have a relief pilot, let him take over and order him to fly somewhere. NPC Pilots might be able to fly out.
option 3: Blow up the asteroid. Any weapon will work, just keep shooting and it will eventually blow up.

option 4: teleport OOS and your ship will fly out of it just fine

And yet another option is to "select" a nearby station or gate on your map, then hit shift + A to engage autopilot.

What do you mean with select? I have to set a navigation point for the auto pilot to start. Just selecting any object is not working for me.

Relief pilot is your best bet if you have one. Get up from your seat and order your ship to anywhere and you should be able to get out. Make sure to talk to your pilot or remove the wait for you order to get him to start flying.
Otherwise just shift + A for autopilot to your destination.

Pull up to the edge, with your eject hatch closest to the plane, then eject? That's my best guess..

Are there any facets you can see? If so blow that sucker up.
