in the map, when selecting multiple unassigned ships from the unassigned ship list and those ships are docked at different stations, the selection will also include other, unwanted ships. The ships to be selected are all docked on my own stations. When clicking on the first ship to be selected, the station tree opens and the ship is also selected there. Then, when shift+clicking on the last wanted ship in the unassigned list, I assume the selection is done internally from the stations docked list rather than the unassigned list, and therefore other, unwanted ships are also included in the selection.
A possible example scenario to reproduce this:
- A few player owned stations
- Each station has some assigned mining/trading ships (might be needed that those are docked when trying to reproduce the issue)
- Each station has some unassigned ships (e.g. fighters) docked => those ships are shown in the unassigned ship list as well as in the list of docked ships for the station. These ships are all of the same type, so they will show up adjacent in the unassigned ship list.
- Some unassigned ships making universe trading => those ships are to have more than the ships to be selected in the unassigned list, and they are not of the same type as the fighters mentioned above
- Now try to select the fighters in the unassigned list by clicking on the first fighter ship and shift+click on the last fighter
Can anyone reproduce this?
