Satellites and count down timer

Post by brekehan »

Why are stations within the radius of the green circle around my satellite counting down?

Also, why is the radius so much bigger when I first drop them compared to when I look later. That really makes them hard to place and makes absolutely no sense to me.

Judging from your screenshot, the station you're looking at seem to be just out of range of your satellite. I don't know what you mean by "the green circle".

The map will scale down the more you explore. If you go very far from the center of the sector, every thing will turn tiny and zoomed out in that sector. There's no way to zoom a single sector back yet, only the whole map. It's been one of the big complains regarding the map, and the devs are aware of it.

This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.

Some people never develop beyond this stage.

So for the first one, yeah the station is out of range.

For both the first and the second, I think this is a glitch of some sort but I do not know how it happens.. both my regular and advanced satellites seem to - at random - change the radius displayed for "monitoring". I'm guessing Ezarkal is on to something with the sectors expanding as you explore, but I cannot confirm that these two are related.

The circle showing radius is bugged and will change scale. The actual area that fog of war is removed from will always be correct, use that instead.
