SHIPYARD DESTROYED OR NOT PUZZLE

OK people i built a ship yard that was doing very well then for no reason everything went to hell the sector i choose Pious mists II, I had a decent turnover nothing amazing but i was making credits. Then for no reason 3 different factions started to fight each other i had heavy ships from these three faction have a pitched battle, not a lot i could do i did fly close and was told to get out the way or i would be hit in the cross fire, Unfortunately my station was in the middle, i did not see any of my modules destroyed but when i had a look in the build plan it seems all my stations had become detached and i would have to hire a builder to join them together again, I checked the account level and noted how much i had available then the real world intervened and i left the game running for an hour when i came back my station takings had gone up by about 80 million credit's, i thought how was this possible when my station seemed to be in bits and needed reconnecting, so was the station really damaged and items detached or was it a glitch that made it look like the station was out of commission.

Ok Station Connectors are not required to make things work...so you could just dump the stations in the build plan and they work...
Someone else posted that they Build thier Station and then REMOVE all the connectors so they get better flight paths..

Also the AI can do this I have several stations in HAT1 where they are not joined. ARG ones

So it could be that..also check your build storage IN HAT1 if defense modules get destroyed the Material to rebuild them goes back to the build storage without the need to resupply..all you need do is hire a builder

You don't need to physically connect your station modules. You can let them all free float apart from each other and the station will still work. You don't need to build connecters in the first place.
