xenon shipyard woes

I have been happily destroying a xenon shipyard module by module and got down to 4% Hull so I got in my nemesis to start the drone Kull and harvest the goodies they drop.
then I got stuck in invisible station constructs and had to teleport to one of my destroyers.

The shipyard was being rebuilt at an astounding rate 30 40 50% just like that...so I engaged my fleet again destroying some modules and firing endlessly at others. Some ships would obey my attack command and others would just cancle it.

the shipyard is invincible at the moment. I had found the build store and demolished its contents, destroyed S after S but all to no avail.

resigned myself to wait for it to be fully rebuilt again before I attack again.

what a joke :evil:

If you are after the drones you can keep the whole SY, just kill the turrets. Occasionally the build storage.
That leaves you with more docking ports for the drones.

Iirc best farming place was the XL wharf, you can go close to that with a carrier as well and let its turrets also hunt the drones - but drones only pop into existence when they are near the player, so you need the carrier to sit someplace close to where you are farming.

Though i had to realise farming doesn't make much sense, they never drop weapon mod parts and generally it's quicker to get mods via ventures. The rest stuff you can probably get via general combat, unless you are after cash - but for that boarding is probably more effective considering the time investment.

Agree ..best way to take out shipyard OOS
mod part farmimg is more easy and fun on N and M and P...so leave the wharf and the solar plant

Well this shipyard is totally bugged and now invincible.

I have waited a long time. Been off and destroyed a different xenon station. I have been monitoring the shipyard. It’s been rebuilt 99% Hull but then one section dematerialises again. It reports hull streangth of 87% atm. But I don’t think it will ever b finished. The build storage is still present. So I can’t destroy it :evil:

You can kill the unfinished modules by expanding the xenon shipyard in your object list and electing the modules individually. You can then either shoot them yourself or set turrets to attack current enemy. That being said you may want to reconsider exterminating the xenon, they push a lot of the production in the game world. Without the xenon and hop, the economy grinds to a halt.

What game build?
Was at 2.2 but now at 2.21
The station and build store are still there. But the hull now reads 0% and the station is dormant.

Don’t really have any choice. The xenon overpower all the other factions so I have had to act. I am sure that once certain gates are reactivated ... the xenon will return. I am busy building fortifications. Shipyards and support fabs in the xenon sectors I acquired.

I think it is wrong that a commercial entity would b militarily stronger than any of the other factions. Some military assets should b race specific sovereignty and other than capping a few I should not b able to acquire hundreds of destroyers.
