WHY no J class Xenon?
Have seen xenon I and K class destroyers but nothing more meaty the those two. Does flight rank have any bearing on what xenon class ships appear?

Also no Q, no L (Actually the X3 L model is now used with X4 M, while X3 M model is used in X4 N - yes I know - this is very confusing), no LX, no PX.

Re: WHY no J class Xenon?
The current Xenon I is the most powerful Xenon ship to date. Sure its stats might look like as good as they did in X3, however given the current balance of things it is leaps and bounds above anything available to the player. This is a trend continued from XR where it was also the most powerful XL ship in the game.
Outside of a human or equipment mod advantage, no other ship in X4 can 1v1 an I in sector or out.
The reason the Xenon do not have dozens of ships is there is no need. X4 has streamlined ships removing redundant classifications. If the Xenon want capital ships they build Ks or Is which are high end.

Xenon I is the most powerful ship in X4, but it's still a shadow of itself from XR.
I'd love if it got back some missile launchers and several more turrets on the top to cover blind spots.

Suppose since I is the best they got, they should group them into larger clusters, 3 I's with 12 J's and a complement of P's and M and N class.
I wouldn't mind seeing a fully filled I swarming M's and N's out with a few P's.

They are avoiding this since otherwise the Xenon will likely rampage and destroy the Universe. Unlike faction economies there is no real limiting factor to how fast the Xenon can build capital ships since they are literally made from small amounts of Ore, Silicon and Energy Cells which are highly available and scale very well.Jean Pagette wrote: ↑Fri, 29. The xenon in matrix #9 are far more aggressive then the other xenon bases. They invaded IZ with 8 ks and an I, the whole system would have burned if I hadn't intervened. The I is a real annoying ship to engage, its so big the AI can't handle it and constantly flops around, making snipping its turrets off with a destroyer difficult, and getting close will get you shredded. I don't think the game AI can handle an even bigger ship, its clear now why ego went with smaller capital ships this time over XR, good choice imo.
