Recently bought Teladi trade offer subscription license, and then I saw this:
I presume this issue with excessive building was already looked after?
I am trying to take care of Xenon excessive building, so I placed patrols and defense platforms on all entrances to Xenon sectors, but this is another story
This was an issue in the betas leading up to 2.0. Did you start your game back then?
I started my current game around 1.8 Beta, and have the exact same problem in SPG. However, I don't think they're doing this anymore in the updates since then.

I started with this game from 2.0 release (not beta).
Looks like many of them are in a bugged state? empty health bar yet not removed.
Honestly that entire sector is a mess the way it is laid out. The behaviour to weapon platform the gate does not work well seeing how the Shipyard is right by the gate. The Shipyard should either be moved to nearby the Warf giving space for a defensive blockade, or the Teladi should build the defence platforms in Company Regard on that side of the gate.
Makes me think about X3. The Antigone Memorial sector in which I had a station attracted so many Teladi M5 fighters (in the thousands), the sector became unusable because of het terrible FPS lag. Entering the sector effectively freezed (but not crashed) the game. I hope x4 doesn't have this "feature".

A number of issues leading to this were fixed previously, but there's obviously still a case where it happens. Unfortunatly, it seems the savegames I've looked at are past the state where new stations are built, which is what I would like to catch.

Sidenote: with those enormous Terabyte disks we all own in the meantime, wouldn't it be possible to provide an in-game mechanism of saving more than just the last 10 games if the player agrees to that. In that case we could provide you with older savegames in cases like this.
I would happily reserve another 100GB disk space for the game if that would give me the opportunity to better support bugfixing.

Seems like there's an insane load of fixes coming in the next build! Surely look forward to it.

Actually I found out what was going on there. I had the same issue with hop in faulty logic. When a faction try to invade an enemy sector they want to build 2 defenses stations. If their builders got destroyed and they never achieve to build them or one of them, after a certain time they will try to build a new one ... and so on. Then you end up with a colony of unfinished station.
The particularity of the south east teladi front is ... they manage to build and finish them and they build in my game 74 STATIONS! I SAY AGAIN 74...

I want to go a little bit out of topic by adding an issue I have in my game:
Once a faction take over a system... let’s say HOP is owning faulty logic, they NEVER expand their ecenonu there. They will just keep the defenses stations they have but they will never mine or build other stations in there. I have same issue where I cleared PAR and let HOP claim pious must II. It seems the game is very limited on that aspect which is sad...
I found out through tests with the Mod Rise of the Ossian Raider that the Argons, when attacked, will only send construction ships.
The help call function after reinforcement has also failed so that the sector defense is no longer supported and freighters and stations no longer helps.

Would it be possible to make the factions remove these derelict stations?
When this happens in several sectors xenon are nearly blocked from the game. Might be an issue in normal race space as well, though i haven't encountered that.
