Bolt repeater makes shooting sound even overheated

Equip your ship with a Bolt Repeater.
Hold down fire button and let the weapon overheat.
Do not let go of the fire button. The weapon will make sound long before it starts shooting again due to momentary loss of temperature, after which it overheats again.
