Ok Posting this here first because I want to check its not just me or my game.

Can someone send a large transport from the PHQ in Grand Exchange to A station in Memory of Profit IX.

I was loading up on a station build and couldnt understand why the wares were taking so long to be delivered.
As it turns out the Transport (An Incarcatua with 3 star pilot) was going out via Black hole sun across and up to argon prime and then all way round and coming in from the North!!!!! wtf...


any feedback would be good

It's not just you. From my experience, any large ship likes to go backward through the travel gate, and seem to bypass the highway sectors if at all possible, even if that route is much longer.

I've no idea why.

current saves available on request but you already have access to three previous and nothing has changed ...empire just grown.

This is a problem that has been in the game since release, I think the AI is using the notionally "fastest" route for S/M vessels for ALL vessels. L/XL vessels should probably be using the shortest route instead.

When manually ordering L/XL vessels, adding one or two waypoints along the true optimal route normally works around this issue.
