Description.
Take any game where there is a sector claimed by the player.
In the left right corner of the information about the sector there is a mini-logo of the faction claiming the sector. For a player, this logo does not change, it is always fixed on one. For ships and stations, the logo changes for the sector unchanged.

If it's not there in the changelog, then by default it's not resolved, captain. This particular issue is fixed and the fix is coming in a future update.
