Are there NPC faction requirements when they buy ships in Player Shipyard?
Are there any requirements that I have to meet in order for NPC factions to buy ships on my shipyards?
- do I have to have good reputation with them?
- do they buy only race specific ships (e.g. ANT only Argon Sentinels, and ARG buying only Argon Vangauard ships)?
- do I need faction specific equipment (e.g Argon faction using only, Argon ships with Argon Engine and Argon shields)?

If faction relation comes into play i dont know... since i´m friendly to all at this point. Exception to this is the usual foes.
Yes each race only buys there own specific ship as far as i could see to this moment.
The only requirement that i think worth noting is having Blueprints for ships/and the basic stuff to make the same usefull such as weapons and shields.... Hop orders usualy Perseus and another fighter whose name i cant currently remember and from time to time Nemesis also... Nemesis is only recently an order on my own ShipYard since i couldnt afford them. And i think they are classed L ship... not sure, myself at this moment since my Warth currently makes M and L ships.
In regards of the amount of orders sometimes it aint an "small" order ... last time i had to build 4 Nemesis and i think +-8 fighters or so... my current own economy is geared to building ships.
Sometimes they do get fribbies or in other words i dont get paid

I don't think they do at the moment, but the plans for 3.00 suggest that something along those lines is in the works.

I'm playing version 2.0 and have every checkbox checked to not trade with other factions and price set to 150% but they still build ships at my shipyard for free. This is made worse by the fact that the shipyards own traders are pretty much worthless (same as most of the game AI) meaning I have to manually source the wares. I was building a Colossus Sentinel and the station just needed 2 wares (engine and hull parts) so after a while I looked at what the shipyard traders were doing. One was buying scanning arrays and another was selling scanning arrays, a complete waste of time.

What should be the minimum requirement for Wharf storage?
I have currently 8 x Argon L container storage and it still give me very low max capacity for some parts (Engine parts, Antimater Converters).

I only have 5 L container storage and its enough, playing vanilla ver 2.0... anyway orders will slow down over time if your Wharf is pretty much open.
I guess, in the case of Engine Parts and Antimater Converters you arent making them inside the Wharf than

In my case, dont know if its apply to other "Universes" its the amount of wares that will withhold $$$ if thats your goal.
Hull parts seems to be in high demand if your making L size ships... such as engine parts, Ant. conver. ,weapon comp. in order of decreasing importance.
I´m not sure for XL ships, can´t make them yet but i do expect something like that ...

I build my first Wharf with 15 Large container storage (10x Argon L and 5x Teladi L):

Unfortunately I noticed that my wharf did a very strange max resource compartments for all the ship building resources:

There are very tiny storage for Engine parts and Anti matter converters - this means my wharf is constantly on hold because even ordering 2 or 3 fighters will eat all the storage. This means I have to either wait for wharf transport to get the good or babysit the wharf and manually supply it.
You can also notice that there is a storage for 8 MILION Energy cells (!!!!!!!!!) - I'm quite sure I don't need as many EC (also 700k smart chips might be a bit overkill too) - think this might be the reason why Engine part and Anti matter converters have such tiny storage.

How many solar production units do you have ? I think i have 4-5.... i rhink. Manager is 4 star at my own Warth

Only 2 EC and I added only to not bother my Traders with EC ferry. Before I added Solar Power Plants it was still like 6 milion EC storage.

Mayby filling the storage, with other wares you expect to need in the long term, might force the manager to step up and recalculate the amount of EC storage space... honestly i dont know... just guessing on my part.

Does NPC faction buy any civilian ships? In my game all it seems they buy just military ships.

Mostly Military on my side too. There is an odd trader or whatsnot from time to time though.
