Game fixes

Has the game been fixed yeat ? like is the economy working is the wars working and so on ?

There has been fixes to the war in 2.0 but there is still some work that needs doing. I am having fun with the game still anyways. That isn't to say some things aren't frustrating.

No 2.0 is Broken Still

Some aspects got a good positive makeover but details are still missing.perfermance and station building is better.Added player shipyards but its not properly implemented.
Faction wars has increased friction at sector borders between races but is not working correctly
Sound got broken further in 2.0
Missions got improved but a huge EVA bug is causing headaches too.
Ventures fixed no more blown up ships
But having said all of that its still a step further forward...and is worth trying again. just save often and keep a couple backed up ..still lots of CTD

All of the above, plus max trade range for both NPCs and player got reduced to 5 meaning less smooth supplies. and much more trade micro - so depending on how you define "broken" economy it might have gotten worse.

I have put the game aside for now, might check back earlier and see patch notes as i have a game going which ended abruptly because of CTDs, EVA bug and sounds getting messed up completely, but generally i'd say wait for 3.0 or until first patch after DLC is released.
If you are lucky then there will be some mods by then which fix fleets and add trade scripts so your production isn't just about generating cash with pain-to-watch dumb traders plus doing same manual trade runs every minute if you have an actual aim with your factories..

Wars factions. For example, HOP vs PAR until I flew personally to the sector were none. But as soon as I personally flew in as PAR immediately became more active and while I was in the sector, we took out two stations and their storage facilities for the HOP assemblies arrived at sector 4 Oddy PAR . Of these, two died in attacks on defense stations.It was worth leaving the sector as everything went quiet and HOP rebuilt its protective stations. But unfortunately almost without turrets.So it seems that without a player in the sector there will be no escalation of the conflict.
