Hey
Has anyone managed to keep the game running in the background, while its minimised or something? It would be neat if I could edit some stuff while the game is getting that damned complex built -.-
Keep the game playing in the background?

I do it all the time (it's running right now!).
From Settings > Graphic Settings > Display Mode, choose Borderless Window.
I let X4 run all night.

I was wondering a lot why there are people on Steam with 450+ hours rating the game negative because it is boring. ^^

lol but having a massive build to make that you are excited about with over 200 modules is a little tooooooooooooo slow to make without seta. I thought it was about 6 hours of seta yet, its 9 hours :< . This is the first time I am using it so much. Would love to see something to decrease build times.. Perhaps having more than one constructor would be epic.
Still holding back from doing a review

I'm in the same boat. In X3 you would fly around everywhere in SETA, which kinda took care of the build times as you went around your business. I'm not saying that X3 was better in this regard, it's just different now, and there's no way to speed up construction.lordmuck wrote: ↑Sun, 10. SETA now constantly kicks yourself out of it (I have yet to figure out why), it doesn't go longer than a minute, so I let X4 run all night.
I haven't reviewed either. I think X4 has good bones, but the game is absolutely in beta. I'm waiting to see if it'll match X3TC (and later AP) like how Reunion started (tho Reunion was a lot more complete than X4).
Would love it if they allowed multiple constructors.
