Okay so i learned how to put mods from Nexus into my game.

here is where they need to be placed
F:\Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions

F=your drive for Steam. You have to make a folder named extensions if you do not have one.

I hope this helps someone.

I just added all of the A ship mods into game and can't wait to get an L or XL.
