[2.20 Beta 3][CTD]Crashing on alt-tab out of game

I see in other threads there's an issue on loading a saved game and that the devs are working on it. Adding my crash info in case it helps.

Steps:

• Playing 2.20 Beta 2.
• Saved my game.
• Exit the game to let steam update to 2.20 Beta 3.
• Start the game, click on the latest save game, game crashes.
• Start the game, click on the latest save game, game crashes.
• Based on forum posts, update my Nvidia driver.
• Start the game, click on the latest save game, game runs.
• Alt-tab out to post, X4 crashes.

I suck at formatting, can't get the list to close.

• Version and language (e.g. 1.0 English, etc.). --> 2.20 Beta 3
• Whether or not your game is modified using any third party scripts or mods (see note below). --> No mods installed
• Game start being played. --> The Unworthy Entrepreneur
• Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time. --> Alt-tabbing out of the game to my desktop, game crashed. First time it was right away. Second time it took @30 seconds.
• Any possibly relevant changes you have made to your game, system, or software before the issue occurred. --> See steps in list above, had just updated my Nvidia drive to stop game from crashing on save load.

@Alan Phipps: I *think* I disabled the unused sound driver after the last time I sent data and you pointed that out. Likely unrelated to this but wanted to point it out

The very latest driver reportedly may cause issues. Maybe try a previous version?

I was already on a previous driver, and upgraded to fix a crash on steam launch as seen here: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=415141

The driver with issues mentioned in that thread is 419.17, I'm at 419.35.

Is there a way to downgrade X4 to beta 2 to see if that makes a difference?

I downgraded to 418.91 and the same thing is happening. But the title is wrong, it's not only happening on alt-tab, just sit for 10-30 seconds and it happens.

I reapplied Nvidia 419.35 and chose the option for a clean install and rebooted.

For my save game I get the same result. So, I tried a new Young Gun game. I ran that game for about 30 minutes, saved and then loaded it, and played it again for another 30 minutes or so. No problems.

I'm going to try the Untested Explorer gamestart to see how it goes as well.
