Planning to build fleet what ships?

Im kinda new in X-series, so what are the best ships for the fleet use?

I have now about 10 fighters from differnt races, but its hard to say wich one is the best.

Also planning to build up cap fleet, any suggestions?
I have found one odyssey vanguard but what are the best choises?

FIghters: Eclipse (resilent x Firepower), Pulsar (pure Firepower)
Corvettes/Frigates/Bombers: Nemesis in a 3 categories
Destroyers: Odysseus (best weapon options)
Carriers: Zeus (slightly better than other 2, but not significantly).


As for Sentinels vs. Vanguards - Vanguards are speed/offensive, Sentinels are resilent/defensive, so it's really what you favor more (speed or endurnance).

The colossus sentinel is the better carrier imo, it has two less turrets then the zeus but way stronger shields. Put three teladi XL shields then mod them to over 500k shield hp.

So its better use mixed modules? I didnt thought about that. Still working on who builds which ship... :D

This reads like the game is not playable without the mods which isn't true. I like to wait until the game is mostly finished with the patches and are mostly polishing. I like to see what the devs intended the game to play like before I mess with mods which break during patches or break the patches.

Which mods ? Or are you referring to shield Regen mods in-game that boost certain ship stats

Ship addons dont break with patches. Economy or war changes might.

Theres plenty of "utility mods" also that simply help out the player or improve some small things.

"ashipmod" adds variaty of end-game capital ships. Depending on what level you want they can be overpowered.

What ever they might type in the version number its still a beta-game. We are just testing it. I'm hoping they get the biggest bugs ironed out so i can re-start, till then, i dont mind OP warships.
