SHUT GAME OFF OR LET GAME RUN?

What's the move...letting the game constantly run or shutting it down after playing?

currently I'm letting it run so the economy gets moving, but I worry that crystals might be just a jump-start for players and won't replenish.

any tips?

crystals on asteroids?

they are always there, you cant hunt all the crystals

crystals respawn all the time ..mine an area out fly and land on a station the other side of the sector come back new asteriods and crystals or sometimes fly through the jump gate turn around and come back sector respawns.
Just remember if you do Ventures to leave at least one of each crystal in your inventory.

Imo there are way more interesting ways to get money then leaving the game on or hunting crystals.
I wouldn't do any of those too much tbh.

Even exploiting the mines and boarding capships in starter ship is way more fun, but you could just trade or do some better paying missions as that also gets you rep.
You can also get a couple mills easily while just exploring.
