Player shipyard - other ships building despite restriction

Stimulated by other factions using my shipyard and materials to build ships for free, I checked the 'restrict orders from other factions' box, in the logical overview.
Nevertheless sometimes ships other factions are still building ships - lots of them - even though the box is definitely checked on all building bays - plus 150% price to deter as well.
HOP have 15 ! ships quequed including 9 odysseus and 3 constructors. Run of materials and I cannot build a ship.
Anyway to cancel the builds ?

You might have to give it time for existing orders to be completed.

Shipyards are several days old.
Speculation: seems to be only the ones where I added another bay - even though restriction box checked ??

I am beginning to wonder when, if ever, this will stop. When a ship has (finally) been built another one enters the queue – so far at least.
So there are 15 HOP ships in the queue. Ten odysseus and the rest heracles. Three ships are yellow with a ! mark at the top of the queue.
Each ship takes about 32 mins to build, when there are enough materials, which I seem to supply for free.

The ‘restrict order from other factions’ button is check for all build-bays and has been since the earliest opportunity.

Two questions:
Is this fixed in 2.10 beta
Is there anyway I can stop what is happening e.g. by editing the save file

Just a thought, perhaps forcing the modules to be rebuilt via editing the build plan would make those customers go away?

Might be worth a try.
Just mindful that this all started happening after I added a module - a new bay.
Could just be coincidence of course.

EDIT: select and right click cancel contruction worked for those not started yet
(When I tried it at first, I must have selected one in construction - duh)

Does not stop them being added unfortunately :evil:

The only way I found to halt NPC free building on a yard under construction is by ticking the check box in manage funds under the manager...from what I have experianced..if you add ship building modules to an existing station with factory modules in place and producing you get paid.
In a station under construction where the wares are bought in they get ships built for free. and the restriction under logical view dosent ( in my Game ) stop the queue or building only manage funds stops it..Once the station is completed NPC's pay.
What I would like to see implemented is to restrict construction by Faction.

this is crazy. Hey CBJ, if you need a developer who wont **** up everything just let me know, I have lots of free times nowadays and I will help you out for free :D

I guess you mean check the box 'restrict trade to other factions' , under the manager
This should be ok if it works, because it is just a ship factory plus energy cells - although they have a habit of building-up quickly.

Would be better if the proper/provided check box actually worked......... hopefully it will in the next patch. With the emphasis on hopefully, I suppose.
