Re: Linux Support (Beta)
The upper/lower case issue is a common problem in more than just games. It comes down to Linux being more strict in naming conventions (Windows/ntfs ignores this completely). Luckily it is basically just an -ignore flag that will be needed in the client.

Removed from Linux Support
Really?!? Say it ain't so

NTFS doesn't. Windows does, by default.Windows/ntfs ignores this completely.
No, it's not "basically" that. You can have a "texture.dds" and a "Texture.DDS" in the same directory at the same time. Which should such an "-ignore" flag pick?Luckily it is basically just an -ignore flag that will be needed in the client.

No need to be an arse about semantics, --ignore well and truly on.radcapricorn wrote: ↑Fri, 1. Mar 19, 07:24Really?!? Say it ain't so![]()

This is the Tech Support forum. Stay on-topic (in the thread this was removed from that means specifically issues with X4 under Linux, not general Linux discussion) and do not get personal.
