2.0 shield capacity mods not affecting shield capacity [SOLVED]

Hello,

I wrote 2.0 but it could have been there earlier - I only noticed now.

On capital ships (tried Colossus and Behemoth), only 1 shield capacity mod makes an effect on the overall shield capacity listed below - the one labeled "chassis".
For each shield generator then, applying the capacity mod is possible, but it doesn't change the shield capacity when applied.

For a smaller ship, like the Nemesis or Eclipse, despite there are multiple slots for shields to be installed, only one of them is displayed for modding (and takes effect).

My details:
Win 10 64bit EN
Steam game, no mods, no beta, EN, v2.0

I believe the shield capacity display only shows you the shield capacity for the mail hull. Shield generators that are in shield groups, i.e. they only protect themselves and the turrets that are in their shield group, are not included, so the effect of mods on those shields won't show up in that display.

Shield mods are fitted per group, not per shield generator, so the behaviour on those smaller ships is correct as all the shields are in the same group, protecting the ship hull.

Thank you for the explanation.

So for capital ships, does that mean it is not worth modding the capacity other than the "main shields"? Or effect is there, just not shown?

The effect is there. Those shield generators and turrets will be better protected; it just won't show up on the main hull shield display.

Any plans to update the UI so the player gets a feedback when he modded it? If not giving the player information when he changes something these questions will always raise again.

Obviously we'd like to but the problem is that on a ship with several shield groups, it's not so easy to present this information. Including it in the main shield display would be misleading.
