Hi.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to play normally due to frequent crashes.
Most often, they occurs after using the highway.
Usually, having made one two circles, when moving to a new location, station icons, start to appear as squares, before finally load.
When this happens, in most cases, it will not even be possible to save the game. When you try it game crashes.
RAM consumption at this point is usually 7.5 out of 8 GB.
It seems to me it looks like a memory leak, because the problem repeats itself at completely random moments, after some time spent in the game, with the active use of the map.
Game version: 1.50, rus, GoG.
Graphics driver version: (Nvidia) 417.71
OS: Windows 10 64bit (1809)

I think there is only one way - 1.6 beta 3, at some moment in 1.5 game further play is not possible.Mardoksan wrote: ↑Sun, 27. Jan 19, 16:40 Hi.

Also made a clean installation with new saves.
All the same.
By the time I decided to write a post, I’ve already returned to 1.50, but there are no more files from the beta for reporting

Is this a seemingly random crash or are there some way you can reliably reproduce it?Mardoksan wrote: ↑Sun, 27. Jan 19, 16:40 Hi.

It may be related to audio problems and I see two things in your dxdiag to suggest:
- Disabling unused audio devices in device manager may help.
- Check if you have the latest audio drivers. At least those for Soundblaster X-Fi may be old. Creative has released unstable drivers in the past.

Adding on the sound driver issues, you have 3 maybe 4 devices and drivers on the go at the same time. I would disable what you do not use in Device Manager, Sound/Audio Devices (right-click on a device for an enable/disable pop-up):
Creative SB X-Fi with an outdated (2015) driver not optimised for current Win10 builds. I would definitely try with this disabled.
Realtek onboard sound chipset with an old default generic MicroSoft driver - update this to Realtek HD Audio Codec R2.82 or later for Win10 x64 from the Realtek update site.
S/PDIF with the generic MIcroSoft driver.
LG Ultra HD sound which seems to expect use of a Nvidia sound driver included in your graphics card driver suite, also currently with the generic MicroSoft driver.
You have many errors reported with Package_for_RollupFix which probably indicates an issue with a cumulative or delta Windows update installation. This may be worth checking out.
As this is a crash issue, please upload and link the relevant .dmp files.
Good luck.

Сrashes happen in random order, but the easiest way to provoke them on the highway.peteran wrote: ↑Sun, 27. Jan 19, 17:34 Is this a seemingly random crash or are there some way you can reliably reproduce it?

I downloaded the latest Creative drivers available from the manufacturer’s website. The description says that they are for Windows 10 x64. And, as you can imagine, I have been using them for quite a while, and there are no problems with them in other games or applications.
I turned off unused drivers, but the crash did happen again.
And this time, RAM usage does not even exceed 7GB.

X-Fi is my main sound card, so switching to Realtek is not an option.Alan Phipps wrote: ↑Sun, 27. .dmp files are on the first link. Here's more from the last crash.

And there is a problem with Windows updates, but I can't do anything about it, except to reinstall the OS. Maybe it's all windows fault, but i can't quickly check it out. Maybe in a couple of days I'll try to reinstall it.

Thanks, and I'm sorry that I missed seeing the .dmp files mentioned in the OP.
