Construction ship storage space

Looks like all (at the least confirmed for Argon and Paranid) construction ships only have 50m3 storage space. That's gotta be wrong.....

No, that's correct. When you hire a builder, storage is created that the builder uses and all materials are delivered to that storage. Anything from S to XL ships can dock at the storage and transfer wares. This gives you the ability to have L ships provide wares even though L ships can't dock with a builder.
