Unknown Captain asking for orders every 5 minutes

1.5, I have some captain asking me for orders like every five minutes. I have checked all my ships and none are looking for orders. I have comm'ed all of them and none seem to match the voice of the captain. I have checked all my docked ships to see if they have orders that are extra and none are. Im thinking it was a ship I sold but not positive. I cannot use the F command after he asks me because the window just blinks very rapidly and goes back to normal. I even checked the venture ship and no luck.

A lot of people have been complaining about the frequency of this and a few other messages, so it will probably be addressed in a future patch. For now, I can say that in my previous campaign where this was happening a lot it was usually a ship assigned to escort another ship: Let's say we've got a nemisis (escort) protecting a vulture (trader). The trader decides to go to station A and buy something. The nemesis also then chooses to go to station A so as to be near the ship it is escorting. The escort arrives at the station first, or while the trader is still busy docking/trading, and is momentarily idle (but still under the escort command). That's when the message occurs. Then the trader finishes its business, selects the next station to fly to, and the situation repeats.

This is likely an escort ship that has raced ahead to a station your trader has dock orders for.

Watch for speaker icons on the escort ships on the map.

yes this is the case, just started game and followed one of the traders escorts.
