[BUG][1.50] Message Screen in cockpit not keeping up

I was a bit surprised that my message screen in the cockpit view told me my new balance is 200 Mio., but the map view only showed 110 Mio. credits.

When I paused the game, the messages keep coming (and are still doing so while I write this post). I have not that many traders and miners, but it seems to be enough to spam the message queue so that the message screen is worthless.
I cleared the personal log, but that doesn't seem to have any effect regarding the message queue.

PS: the game is still paused and the messages are still coming...
PPS: a cup of coffee and a pipe later and the messages are still flowing...
It's quite impressive that the message queue didn't cause a crash, but I don't think a cockpit screen should show what happend half a hour ago. What happens with this system if the game runs on SETA for a few hours? Have I to pause it for the rest of the day to clear the queue?

I also have this issue. I can sit in space and not look at anything while my queue keeps building. I've had issues of it being hours behind. It seems like they're just added to a queue and that queue doesn't get cutoff at any point. I see an increased memory gain and eventually I have to restart. I think this is the cause of it and I've experienced it since 1.2.

BUG is relevant to version: 1.xx, 1.3x, 1.5x & 1.6x

Same problem here, the trade/action log is several hours behind reality and when it gets bad enough it freezes the game completely for several seconds, then spam everything machine-gun style.

I'll add save-game file here when I find a suitable file-holder.
