BUG 1.5 - All ships stop attacking me

When I get into an engagement with any ship they fly away, turn around and shoot at me and then start flying around aimlessly in a semi panicked manner.
I usually only get shot once or twice by anything I attack before they just start flying around and go full derp. Not sure what to do?
