The mission wants me to dock to an L-sized ship. But I was flying an L-sized one myself when I accepted the mission and picked up the passenger.
Certainly there's no way to dock two L-sized ships. I summoned a fighter ship and landed it on my Gorgon in hopes I can transfer the passenger, but there turned out to be no way to do that.
The passenger happily hangs out among my crew and doesn't respond my comms. I had to abort the mission in the end.
We need passengers to respond comms and have an option for transferring them to other ships.
