[1.5] Station construction mission broken
I've repeatedly rebuild every module on this station more times than I care to count. They're not taking the station from me.

Hey,
they are not, in X4 they are currently just giving you the rewards when the station is finished.And you will keep the station.
If your mission fails to finish then be sure to have the turret components, energy cells and advanced electronics at the construction site before you start building. Sometimes the building of turrets bugs a little and starts even thou there are no resources to build them yet. When that happens the mission will not finish properly and the only way out is to rebuild the component with the buggy turrets.
I hope this helps and you can start to enjoy collecting countles small stations
